Bathtub Bath!
love the bath, a photo by tf-oto on Flickr.
Mia 's finally taking a bath in the bathtub! As with any changes to her delicate routine, I was plenty nervous, but it all worked out just fine. In fact, as you can above, she loved it! We were able to get out her bath toys for the first time (three rubber duckies, a turtle, crab and alligator). And best yet, I didn't drop my fancy camera in the tub!

Crib Life
We officially moved Mia from her bassinet to her crib this weekend. Since she stopped sleeping through the night about a week ago anyway, we figured it couldn't hurt to make the transition. She's still waking up hungry somewhere between 1-3am, but has adjusted to the crib pretty well. It was a nice run while it lasted of about 6 weeks of uninterrupted sleep, which hopefully will return again someday. Pictured, her very first night.

Happy Easter, Update
Someone is getting much bigger ... she's weighing in around 12 pounds, and has pretty much been out of any of her newborn gear for the last few weeks. It's sad to see all these clothes be packed away, especially the leopard print and rock star outfits. But it means we get to buy more cute clothes. And I'll be treating you to some adorable shots on my Flickr page as Spring turns to Summer. Oh, and the clothes aren't being donated just yet. Mommy is keeping them (along with her maternity items) as an insurance policy against Mia getting a little brother or sister anytime soon :)
Mia is also sleeping through the night (has been for awhile) most of the time. Usually once or twice a week she'll stir in the wee hours, but for the most part she's giving her loving parents 8 hours. We couldn't be luckier. She's smiling up a storm, as you can see below, and is starting to giggle when played with.
Happy Spring everyone!
